The season is halfway done. Well, not technically--the 18th of 36 races doesn't come until July 15 at Chicago--but this is the official midseason break for Winston Cup. The weekend before the return to Daytona. The last chance to rest before the schedule turns ugly. Races the next 20 weekends, remember?
Makes me tired just thinking about it.
But I can't look ahead without looking back. So I put together a list of midseason awards--keep reading, you'll find them--though it wasn't the fun exercise I had hoped. Too often I found myself back in the fourth turn on the final lap at Daytona.
