San Francisco- Mike Bixby has been re-elected as co-chair of the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization's credit reporting workgroup, which is responsible for the recently published version 1.1 XML Standard Guide. Mr. Bixby is also currently an e-data coordinator for INFO1, a nationwide provider of credit information for the mortgage industry.

Santa Ana- First American Title Insurance Co. has appointed Craig I. DeRoy to its board of directors. He is also currently the executive vice president and general counsel for The First American Corp., First American Title's parent company.

Santa Ana- SAFECO SELECT Insurance Services has promoted Charles C. Mai to vice president and client services manager. He will be responsible for managing the technical and loan portfolio aspects of current clients, as well as managing the activities of the company's internal client services representatives and regionally-based account executive team.

Santa Ana- Peter Lo has been appointed as senior vice president and director of management information systems at SAFECO SELECT Insurance Services, a provider of hazard insurance outsourcing, tracking and processing for mortgage lenders and servicers.

Mr. Lo will be in charge of all information technology activities at the company's Santa Ana headquarters and Nashville, Tenn. regional operations center. He most recently served with Vista Paint Corp. as chief information officer.
