CALLIOPE's World.(Poem)

 
   THE TROJAN WAR 
 
   Here Aeneas tells the tale. 
   In these few lines he will unveil, 
   The Greeks were ready for a war. 
   For the Trojans, death was in store. 
   They fought for a very long time. 
   The Greeks committed many a crime. 
   They sent the Trojans a wooden horse. 
   The Trojans thought it a gift, of course. 
   So they sailed away to seal the plot, 
   And that is how the Trojans were caught. 
   The Trojans partied all night long, 
   Not knowing all was going wrong. 
   The Greeks hid in the horse that night, 
   They came out and with the Trojans they did fight. 
   It looks as though the Trojans will fail, 
   In the future, the story will unveil.
