Dragoljub Milanovic, who was the head of Serbian Radio and Television (SRT) at the time of NATO's April 23, 1999 cruise missile attack on the facility, has been charged by Belgrade's district court "over his alleged responsibility for the deaths of 16 employees" in that attack, reported Agence France-Presse on August 2nd. Carla Del Ponte, the chief prosecutor for the UN's Yugoslav "war crimes tribunal," has also threatened to prosecute former Yugoslav dictator Slobodan Milosevic on similar charges.
