There is a light side and a dark side to digital artist Erisa Kiba's work. In fact, lighting plays an important role in the creation of her images, reflecting contrasting moods and styles--classical vs. futuristic, Western vs. Eastern, tough vs. gentle. "I think a lot about the lighting when I create my images," she says. "And often, I set up `tricks' in Photoshop to achieve different levels of lighting effects."
