Adobe Systems and American Graphics Institute have joined together for a five-city tour to provide instruction on how to create web pages and graphics for the Internet using Adobe's suite of web publishing software. The seminars are led by industry-expert Jennifer Smith, author of Sam's Teach Yourself GoLive 5 in 24 Hours.
The seminar is a one-stop educational event teaching dynamic web page design, advanced design techniques and creating graphics optimized for the Web.
The first day is Creating Web Graphics, with topics including: file formats, making graphics efficient, solving size and color issues, animations, transparencies, image mapping, slicing images, attaching URLs to images along with using new Web features in Adobe Photoshop 6 and Adobe ImageReady software.
The second day is Creating Web Pages using Adobe GoLive 5. Attendees will learn HTML essentials, text formatting, style sheets, frames, hyperlinks, layers, JavaScript actions, form page creation and how to avoid common browser compatibility problems.
