Pixar dances past technical challenges to create the colorful stars of its fourth feature animation
if you didn't suspect, when you were a child, that a monster might be in your closet, you probably knew someone who did. But did you ever ask why a monster would be there? When Pete Docter asked the question, his answers put him on a path that led to a feature film. Next month, on November 2, Walt Disney Pictures will present that film, Pixar Animation Studios' Monsters, Inc. The animated film marks the directorial debut for Docter, who was supervising animator and one of four screenwriters for the enormously successful Toy Story, Pixar's first full-length film.
