Vendor, bank add to PVI concerns by filing lawsuits.

One of Peripheral Vision Infosystems Inc.'s business partners filed suit this week against the Overland Park technology company for an unpaid bill totaling more that $2.7 million.

Ingram Micro Inc., a worldwide distributor of computers and computer-related products, filed suit against PVI Jan. 16 in Johnson County District Court.

Ingram Micro alleges in the suit that PVI executed a promissory note for $2.76 million that was to be paid to the plaintiff by Oct. 20, 2000, for goods and services sold and delivered to PVI. The suit claims PVI has failed to pay any of the amount outlined under the note.
