Black Americans for Life Plans Aggressive Educational Campaign for 2005.
Black Americans for Life is planning to expand its educational activities to help educate African-Americans on how they can save Black babies from abortion.
"African-American women have the highest abortion rate of any ethnic group in the United States. Tragically, Black women have an almost unbelievable abortion rate that is three times higher than white women," said Black Americans for Life Director Day Gardner. "Black Americans for Life intends to do all in its power to save Black babies and to prevent their mothers from experiencing the trauma of abortion."
During 2005, Black Americans for Life will sponsor a variety of programs to assist and educate the African-American community regarding abortion, infanticide, and cloning. Planned activities include expanded educational programs during Black History Month (February) and Abortion Awareness Month (June). It will also expand its challenge program during Abortion Awareness Month to provide additional incentives to help increase local participation.
