Ko Olina Resort and Marina, a master-planned resort community on Leeward Oahu, is bustling with construction activities as it gears up for October. That's when Marriott Vacation Club International will open its vacation ownership sales gallery for the Ko Olina Beach Club, bringing more people to the area.

"Marriott will finish it sales gallery and they will be bringing people in from Honolulu," says Roy Tokujo, an investor in Ko Olina Resort and Marina. "They will expose the area to Waikiki clients, and we expect a lot of foot traffic. When that happens, then you start getting a lot of opportunities for commercial activities."
