United States of America -- The manufacturer of rivastigmine (Exelon[R]), indicated for Alzheimer disease has informed health professionals of recent changes to the prescribing information. These changes provide guidelines for reinitiating therapy in patients who have interrupted treatment with rivastigmine in order to reduce the risk of severe vomiting. (1)
