VIETNAM'S OIL SERVICES ENTERPRISES SEES STEADY GROWTH.
HANOI, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - Steady growth in the oil and gas industry over the last few years has led to a growth in oil-related services allowing the industry to meet the country's demand for oil exploration and production.
The Petroleum Technical Services Company (PTSC), under the umbrella of Vietnam's Oil and Gas Corporation (PetroVietnam), is a key player in offering technical services for the oil sector.
PTSC is now offering technical services like the manufacturing and installation of oil rig substructures, construction of floating housing for oil workers, repairing of rigs and providing of prospecting and pumping of both oil and natural gas.
The company has invested heavily in modern equipment and in training a skilled staff for oil-related services at home and abroad.
And the company's turnover will have risen from VND531 billion (US$35 million) in 1996 ...
