QESHM ISLAND, HORMUZGAN PROVINCE, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - The Qeshm Free Zone (QFZ) Customs Office earned rls 5.5 billion (US$3.14 million) in the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), according to department head Kazem Bidarian.

"The figure shows an increase of 41.9 per cent compared to the corresponding figure for the preceding year," Bidarian told IRNA.

He added that last year, the revenues earned by the office stood at rls 3.3 billion.
