NEW $US28MLN TAIPEI COMMERCIAL EXHIBITION CENTRE OPENS.
TAIPEI, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - The new NT$1 billion (US$28.98 million) Taipei County Commercial Exhibition Center has been opened in Wuku Industrial Park in a ceremony hosted by President Chen Shui-bian.
President Chen said during the ribbon-cutting ceremony that he hoped the center would help upgrade domestic products and production capacity, as well as enliven the investment climate in Taiwan.
The Taipei County Commercial Exhibition Center will serve as a multi-purpose complex with a standard exhibition hall that can accommodate 238 display booths. The size of the center is 9,300 ping (one ping equals about six square feet).
