MUSCAT, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - OPEC's recent agreement to leave oil output unchanged will benefit the oil market, according to Rashid bin Khalid al Barwani, marketing affairs advisor to the minister for oil and gas.
Al Barwani said the sultanate was cooperating with the cartel to stabilize world oil prices.
He expects oil prices to remain around $US24 in the last quarter this year.
He said a committee was formed to consider bids for selling up an oil markets unit.
