MUSCAT, Oct 1 Asia Pulse - The Oman Sultanate government and PGS Geophysical have signed a new agreement to increase, improve and market geophysical data on offshore oil block No.41.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Sultanate government by Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad al Rumhi, the Minister of Oil and Gas Oil, while Gas and Eng. Aadil Karas, the PGS Geophysical Manager for the Middle East, signed for his company.
According to the agreement, PGS Geophysical will carry out a seismic survey and interpret available seismic data to asses the presence of oil in the area.
