Over the last decade, I've typed "quality of life" so often, it rolls out of my fingers almost as automatically as Austin. In fact, I've decided to try just QOL to shave a few strokes for a while.
But that's one of the givens if you talk about Central Texas. A lot of the conversation is going to be about QOL. When you say it, a lot of residents nod their heads knowingly. But they don't really know. Because if you ask what it is, you'll get answers that number comparably with the volume of cedar trees dotting the hills.
