I think it's very unfair that Tony Dungy is taking the heat in Tampa. You can trace the Bucs' problems to when he was instructed to get rid of (offensive coordinator) Mike Shula because they wanted a more flashy offense. I think that's really where the their lack of success in the playoffs has come from. They went out and got Keyshawn (Johnson), they went out and got Brad Johnson, they changed coordinators three times, yet nothing has changed. And now the defense isn't playing as well. It all goes back to the forced removal of Shula. They would have been further along offensively if they had kept Shula and kept doing what they do best, which is run the ball.... An unsung player who probably will be a big player in free agency after this season is Fred Beasley of the 49ers. I think he's become probably the most complete fullback in the game. He was a 'tweener in college--basically a tailback, but he didn't have tailback speed. I never thought he could play fullback in this league, but he's put on some weight. He's aggressive, he's blocking great, and he's a big-time receiving threat out of the ...
