Rod Smith vs. Charles Woodson

Rarely does an individual matchup have as much bearing on the outcome of a game as this one: Broncos WR Rod Smith vs. Raiders CB Charles Woodson on Monday night in Oakland.

Smith has averaged almost 84 catches the past four seasons, but he faced double coverage only occasionally during his first six years in the league That changed after the Broncos' opening game, when WR Ed McCaffrey was lost for the season with two broken bones in his left leg. This game will be the first time since McCaffrey's injury that Smith sees single coverage on a regular basis.
