* What, NBC worry? News tickers have quoted IOC officials questioning whether the Salt Lake Games should go on if the host country is at war. NBC has a few billion reasons to insist they proceed--but claims it hasn't looked into any alternative February programming or buying extra cancellation insurance. It's banking on this clarification from Francois Carrard, IOC director general: "There is no Plan B. There are no discussions to cancel the Games. If anything, there is the opposite."
