New York City -- Giving three aspiring writers an extraordinary shot at literary stardom, iPublish.com at Time Warner Books http://www.ipublish.com (AOL Keyword: iPublish) today unveiled the third round of authors discovered through iWrite, its online writer community.

Three first-time authors without agents or industry connections wrote the debut novels. They include Scott Sigler, a Detroit area marketing manager by day and guitarist in a rock band by night; Sarah Storme an engineer with the Forest Service in Santa Fe New Mexico, and Master Gardener Maryann Weber of Valatie in Upstate New York.

Chosen from the more than 3,000 submissions iPublish.com has received since it launched in April, the novels span genres from science fiction to romance to mystery. They will be published this December in eBook format and print (via print on demand), with the possibility of a full-scale print distribution sometime in 2002.

iPublish.com also announced today that MUZZY, a working class mystery by first time author Margo Pierce Dorksen of Willoughby, Ohio, received the most votes in a national online contest showcasing the second round of authors on America Online and at http://newauthors.ipublish.com. Users who voted in the contest will now be able to read MUZZY online for free. A new contest featuring the third round of novels kicks off today. iPublish.com will continue to release a new list of discovered authors, and a new contest, each month.
