TOKYO, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - Sales at eight major travel agencies, including JTB Corp and Kinki Nippon Tourist Co (TSE:9726), fell 11.7 per cent in September from a year earlier to 304.57 billion yen ($US2.5 billion), the first decline in four months, show figures released Wednesday by the firms.
Tours to the US were suspended after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, and many people are simply refraining from any overseas tours.
