SEOUL, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - The Ministry of Construction and Transportation today said the Miryang multipurpose dam, which has been under construction since 1990, has been completed at a cost of 206 billion won (US$158 million).

The country's 13th largest multipurpose dam, which stands some 535 meters high, is capable of supplying 73 million tons of water a year with a power generating capacity of 1,300 kw. The dam has a capacity to hold 73.6 million tons of water.

The ministry said the dam will supply 50.8 million tons of water for daily consumption to 400,000 ...
