COPYRIGHT 2002 National Association of Credit Management
The conference program focused on education and was very supportive of NACM's professional certification program and its many continuing education opportunities. Among credit management professionals, NACM's professional certification program is highly respected and appreciated. Not only is participation in the program a mark of distinction throughout the profession, but it offers a wide range of important benefits including expanded knowledge, career opportunities, heightened professional recognition and standards of excellence.
NACM was pleased to recognize several designation-holders during the All-South event. Three lucky designees were randomly chosen to receive valuable prizes given away by NACM-National. The first prize winner, David Balovich, CCE, received a $25 gift certificate good towards items in the NACM-Bookstore. A copy of NACM's 93rd edition of the Manual of Credit & Commercial Laws was awarded to the second name chosen, Eddie Dickinson, CBA. The final name drawn was Susan Miller, CCE. Susan will receive a complimentary registration to the 2003 Annual Credit Congress & Expo, being held June 1-4 in Orlando, Florida--a prize valued at nearly $600!! David, Eddie & Susan were just three of the many attendees qualified for these valuable prizes. How did they qualify? They held one of NACM's three professional designations, the Credit Business Associate (CBA); the Credit Business Fellow (CBF); or the CCE designation, the Certified Credit Executive, and therefore were automatically entered into the prize drawing....it definit ely pays to be certified!! Our congratulations to the lucky winners!
Next year's All-South Credit Conference, "The Big Easy," will be hosted by NACM-Louisiana September 17 - 20, 2003, and will be held at the Astor Crowne Plaza, located on the corner of the world famous Canal and Bourbon Streets in downtown New Orleans.
