Abstract
In management classes, examples and case studies are often used to illustrate concepts. The vast majority of these illustrations are taken from contemporary management situations. However, the theories presented, especially in the area of organizational behavior, are portrayed as being generalizable beyond modern business organizations. In this paper a creative term project is proposed, drawing on a single work of literature, along with a film adaptation, to illustrate the vast majority of the course content.
