TMA locks toilet, guest house

THE Ghana Water Company Ltd. (GWCL) stores several millions of gallons of water at its booster station, a few meters away from the police barrier at Turaku on the way to Michel Camp, near Tema.

This water is pumped all the way from Kpong and redistributed to Tema and the Eastern part of Accra.

The facility is seriously under threat, not from encroachers or armed attack but epidemic out of human waste.

Chronicle investigation revealed that aside of the fact that most residents of this area did not include toilet facilities when building …
