[Presenter] The internet agency nns.ru [National News Service] has announced that it has closed down. One of the oldest internet news operations, set up eight years ago, it ended its operations at 1600 Moscow time [1200 gmt]. No reasons have been given for the agency's closure.

The managing director of the Rambler internet holding company [Russia's leading internet company], Anton Nosik, is sorry about the demise of nns.ru, but says that it is in line with current trends.
