Not a member of a library?

At some point in your life, there is a good chance you've had an opportunity to use a library.  And if you haven't used one lately, you may not recognize it.  Today's libraries are vibrant centers of technology, information access and learning.  If you are a student, check with one of your teachers to find out where the library is and how to access it.  Or, visit or call your local library to learn more about the library's resources and how you can get access.  Be sure to find out how to get your own library card.

Why get a library card?

A library card is one of the most important cards you can have.  It opens the door to a place of opportunity and learning for all citizens.   No other card can give you free access to a wealth of books, magazines, movies, CDs, DVDs and other vehicles of information and enjoyment.  No other card can help kids achieve in school.  No other card can provide you free access to computers and classes.  And no other card can give you the best, most authoritative information in which to make important life decisions.    Call your local library today to get yours.  Here is a handy link to a web site that may be able to help you find your library

Why isn't my city listed?

The good news is that we are hard at work to bring more libraries and more information services online as soon as possible.  We encourage you to check back with us often to see if your library has been added.  If you would like us to let you know when resources from your library are available, click here to send us an email with your local library and/or your city and state, and we will be glad to alert you when the time is right.
