BLAHNIK: I really wanted to get into this vehicle, mostly due to its playful looks. It's obviously smaller than anything else in the Land Rover family, but I think the lines are nice.
I also like the interior: There are some nice textures, and the gauges are slick, especially with the green accents. I liked driving the Freelander, although there are some large blind spots caused by the funky rear end. I do think it would be fun to go off-roading with this. For the price, I can see a lot of people taking the bait.
FLOYD: People will probably buy this because they think it's ``cute,'' or they want the prestige of the Land Rover badge at a somewhat affordable price.
