GARDEN CLUB TOUR: The Garden Club of Charleston will hold its 68th annual Walking Tour of Private Houses & Gardens 2-5 p.m. March 22 and 29.
The tour will include homes and gardens in the Historic District and will feature flowers arranged by members of the Garden Club of Charleston. Refreshments will be served in a Charleston garden.
"This is the most beautiful time of the year in Charleston, and the gardens should be at their peak," says Breta Seaman, chairman of the event.
Tickets are $25 and available by mail, at the Charleston Visitor Center on Meeting Street or the Heyward-Washington House, 87 Church St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
