London wasn't built in a day. Well, at least not the London in Sony's PS2 crime spree The Getaway. That took Sony's Team Soho a full three years. Now that the dust has settled and the game is in stores, we sat down for tea with Director Brendan McNamara to chat about violence, turn signals, and those inevitable Grand Theft Auto comparisons.

EGM: When we saw the first screens of the game (before PS2 even launched), it just looked like a driving game. Did it start out that way?
