Not to be cynical (okay, maybe just a little), but a lot of guys view designated holidays as nothing more than an excuse to print cheesy greeting cards and for restaurants to charge 15 percent more for a meal. Plus, any special occasion calls attention to a common male deficit: gift-giving ability. I mean, it's bad enough that we can't figure out what to get you for the biggies like anniversaries ...
