Construction workers for Bradbury Stamm are heading back to work at the new Metropolitan Detention Center to repair the jail shower drains after reaching an agreement with Bernalillo County last week. Bradbury Stamm Senior Vice President James Lloyd said the company and subcontractors started work at the lockup Tuesday.

A Bernalillo County spokeswoman confirmed that the company has started work at the jail.

Last week, the state's Construction Industries Division cited Bradbury Stamm and three subcontractors with a correction notice with a handful of plumbing code violations.
