Sailor faces charge of sexual exploitation
A 26-year-old sailor was charged Friday with third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor after police found 32 sexually explicit pictures involving children on a personal computer he'd attempted to trade in, according to an arrest warrant.
Petty Officer 2nd class Adam J. Cupak of Goose Creek remains at Charleston County Detention Center on $35,000 bail. Charleston County Magistrate Jack Guedalia told Cupak, a husband and father of two, if he made bail he was to stay away from children 17 and younger and seek a mental evaluation.
