Senators today unanimously approved Gov. Bill Richardson's first four Cabinet nominees to face their scrutiny.

The confirmed nominees were Mary-Dale Bolson for Children, Youth and Families; Pamela Hyde for Department of Human Services; Patricia Montoya for the Health Department; and Ron Curry for the Environment Department.

Democrats couldn't resist blasting the condition in which former Gov. Gary Johnson, a Republican, had left three of the departments Health; Human Services; and Children, Youth and Families.
