On its home track at Varano de' Melegari just south of Parma, Italy, last year's dominant Indy Racing League manufacturer Dallara revealed its 2003 IRL car. Having won 12 out of 13 races in 2002, the new Dallara, reflecting the updated IRL chassis program for 2003 through 2005, is not wanting for customers this season. Already more than 40 cars have been ordered for the 16-race 2003 calendar, as well as more than a dozen requests for teams focusing only on the Indy 500.
