Dean Kruse has purchased his old auto auction company, Kruse International, back from eBay.com, which had bought it in May 1999.
``When I sold it, I thought I was happy, but I was like a racehorse put out to pasture,'' Kruse said of his more than three years away from the business.
The company is located on a 300-acre site in Auburn, Indiana. Kruse plans to develop an additional 400 acres across I-69 from company headquarters. With the extra land, Kruse hopes to lure the Corvette people to the ``world's largest Corvette museum.'' He also plans to bring other car shows to the grounds, as well as four more of the traditional auctions per year.
``The major change will be to utilize the home office grounds more,'' Kruse said. ``Instead of twice a year, we hope to use it many more times.''
