Wine event to be Feb. 4 at Gaillard.

Wine lovers and connoisseurs from around the Southeast are invited to enjoy a premier wine tasting and educational seminar presented by representatives from more than 75 California vineyards Feb. 4 at Gaillard Municipal Auditorium.

The Napa Valley Wine Vintners' Association Wine Tasting and Auction will feature a private wine- tasting seminar for friends and patrons, 6-7 p.m., as well as a general tasting, beginning at 7 p.m.

More than 60 wine-related packages from the vintners will be offered during a silent auction.

A live auction at 9 p.m. will feature a dinner for 12 at a private house on Charleston's historic Battery prepared by five of …
