2003 JAN 8 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Aventis Pasteur has announced the company is committed to meeting U.S. demand for Fluzone influenza virus vaccine following Wyeth's recent announcement to discontinue production of its influenza vaccine.
Aventis Pasteur's Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, facility currently produces about half the influenza vaccine used in the U.S. Aventis Pasteur globally produces more than half the influenza vaccine used in the world.
