Kibris konusunda calisan arastirmacilar icin basvuru kaynagi olabilecek calisma 2000 yilinda yayinlandi. Kitap, iki cilt icinde toplanan cesitli kaynaklarin dizininden olusuyor.
Kibrisli Turkler Bibliyografyasi, cok kapsamli taramalar sonucu meydana getirilmis, bir dizindir. Bibliyagrafya, Deviet Arsivleri Genel Mudurlugu yonetimindeki Dokumantasyon Daire Baskani Dr. Ibrahim Karaer sorumlulugunda calisan Koordinator Dr. Erol Celik ile Dr. Ufuk Tavkul, Ayse Bilgi Tavkul, Medayi Senturk'ten olusan bir grup tarafindan hazirlanmistir. Dort ana bolum halinde duzenlenmis dizinin birinci bolumu albumler, ansiklopediler, bibliyografyalar, bibliyografik listeler, index ye kataloglar, biyografiler, el kitaplari, rehberler ye sozluklerden olusturulan muracaat eserleri (s. 6-13); ikinci bolumu kitap, rapor, tez ye dergilerde yayinlanan makoleler ve tebligler ile armagan kitaplardaki yazilandan olusan kitap, rapon, tez ye tebligler (s. 15-307); ucuncu bolumu gazete makaleleri (s. 309-526) ye dorduncu bolumu ise gazetelerden alinan haber basliklari (s. 5271216) seklinde tasnif edilmistir. Tum esenlen 0001' den baslamak uzere numaralandirilmis ye dizinde 25.315 eser basligi yer almistri. Ancak bu n urnanalamanin ye bibliyografya yen seklinde kunye tespiti yontemi aciklanmakla beraber hangi uluslararasi standarda gore yapildigi aciklikla belirtilmemistir.
Kibrish Turkler Bibliyografyasi'nin giris kisminda, bu calisma icin gbzden gecirilen eserler yer alrnakta, bunlar arasinda bibliyografya, bibliyografik dizinler (s. XXIV- XLIX) lie sureli yayinlar (s. XL - XLVIII) uzun bir liste olusturmaktadir.
Kadin calismalari gunumuz dizinlerinde ayri bin baslik altindo verilmekte ise de bu bibliyografyada boyle bir baslik gerekil gorulmemistir. Tananan kitap, katalog, bibliyografya veya sureli yayinlar arasinda kadin konulu tek sureli yayin Turk Kadini adli dergidir. Bu derginin katalogda yer almasinin sebebi ise Benia Remzi Ozoran'in Kurtulus, Sovast konulu bir siiri dolayisiyledir. Bunun disinda kadin konulani sadece folkior, etnogrofya, sosyoloji ve egitim bolumunde ev gelenekleri, inanclar, kadin yasami ve kimligi ile ilgill eserler olarak yer almistir.
Son yillarda bilim alaninda sayilari anton kadin akademisyenler ve yazorlor tarofindan Kibris konulu edebiyat, dilbilimi, tarih, siyaset bilimleri, sanat tarihi, sosyoloji, psikoloji, fen bilimleri, mirnarlik, tip ye muhendislik alanlarinda do yapilan cok sayida bilimsel calismadan cok az bir kismi bu dizinde taranmistir.
