Jack Roush still doesn't have a Winston Cup title, but he has the 2002 Busch Series trophy to bookend his 2000 Craftsman Truck Series hardware. Perhaps ironically, Greg Biffle delivered both.
Biffle dominated the Busch season, winning four of 34 races, finishing 20 times in the top-five and 25 times in the top-10. He briefly led early in the season, then took control at the July 5 race in Daytona Beach. He clinched it by finishing third in the next-to-last race at Phoenix and closed in style, finishing second in the finale at Homestead.
Biffle and runner-up Jason Keller were two of five drivers to lead the points. Dale Earnhardt Jr. led after the season opener, Keller led after five races, Jeff Green after one and Jack Sprague after nine. Biffle led after the final 17, his lead growing from 35 points to his final ...
