THREE weeks have passed since Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo issued an ultimatum to a housing developer and owners of the land surrounding Taman Hillview. On Nov 27, he had announced that the developer and owners have been given two weeks to decide whether or not to collectively develop their respective land. If they cannot agree among themselves to join forces and form a consortium-of-sorts to develop their land, the State Government would have to exercise the National Land Code and take away their land.
