With Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim's effort to form a government with the Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML -QA) having run into trouble because of the reluctance of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to join hands with the PPPP, the party leadership has once again turned to the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) for help.

Following a meeting between Fahim and ARD chief Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan over the weekend, differences creeping in to the relations between the two groups have been "patched over", according to sources, and "the national need" put first. …
