KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - The price of chicken, from farm to retail, will be up by between 30 and 35 sen from tomorrow.

Federation of Livestock Farmers' Associations of Malaysia today said the increase, which was within the ceiling price stipulated by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry, was due to demand and supply.

However, it did not give details.

It said the ex-farm price for a live chicken weighing a kilogramme would be RM2.90 as compared to RM2.60 now.
