Iran: Central Bank governor says economy was stable last year.

Central Bank Governor Mohsen Nurbakhsh has said that the Iranian economic growth showed a rise of 4.7 per cent last year. He said the Iranian economy was on a "relatively stable and positive path". The following is the text of report in English by Iranian news agency IRNA:

Tehran, 3 December: Governor of Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Mohsen Nurbakhsh said here Tuesday [3 December] that Iranian economy threaded a relatively stable and positive path in the last Iranian year 1380 (ended 20 March).
