More than 1,000 foreign domestic helpers have marched from Causeway Bay to the Central government offices [i.e. the government offices in the Central district] to protest against proposals to make them pay tax. They say the proposed monthly levy of 500 to 750 dollars is unjust, exploitative and discriminatory.
