Native American young women who become pregnant during their teenage years face numerous challenges. In the group facilitated by Cheryl American Horse, six young women shared their experiences as mothers: what happened during their pregnancies, the reactions from their families when they learned they were pregnant, and the issues of being in school, relationships with family, financial survival, and parenting.
