The ministry of works, transport and communications is to enforce compulsory use of seat-belts by drivers to reduce loss of life in road accidents.

The minister of state for transport, Andruale Awuzu, said many accident victims would survive if they used belts.

Awuzu said this while launching the national road safety campaign week at main street primary school in Jinja on Monday.
