2002 DEC 12 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- iCAD, Inc., (ICAD), which designs, develops, and markets computer-aided detection (CAD) imaging technology and systems for the early detection of breast cancer, announced the release of a version of its CAD software with improved speed and productivity-enhancing features that have been suggested by users.
The new software release increases the overall speed at which the iCAD system digitizes and analyzes groups of mammograms by more than 25%, making the iCAD system the fastest CAD system available in the market today.
The new release also allows users to automatically print CAD results for distribution and review in hard copy form.
