Look for a new name by the time Maserati unveils its next Quattroporte (four-door) next September in Frankfurt, but otherwise the basic shape shown here will be what you'll see when the car arrives in showrooms.
The styling of the luxury sedan, penned under the careful watch of Ferrari Enzo designer Ken Okuyama, will be a radical departure from the boxy shape of the previous model. Sources say the car will have an overall length of just more than 200 inches, which would make it longer than a short-wheelbase Mercedes S-Class. With pricing likely in the $110,000 range, Quattroporte is expected to compete with the S-Class and BMW 7 Series.
